Deborah Blanc is Senior Vice President and Director of Asset Management for Mascoma Community Development and the Community Development Lending division at Mascoma Bank.
Deborah’s position utilizes her expert knowledge of commercial credit along with her knowledge of real estate construction lending to manage projects funded through various forms of tax credit financing, including New Markets Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.
Deborah holds a degree from New Hampshire College, is a graduate of The New England School for Financial Studies, and attended the University of New Hampshire. She has worked in banking since 1989 with a focus in commercial credit and lending. Her additional experience includes management positions for a manufacturing company, a family construction business, and a non-profit, which all provide a diverse background when helping businesses with their commercial lending projects.
Deborah has been an active community leader throughout her career and has served as the board chair for a child-care facility, a regional home healthcare organization, and the local chapter of the Risk Management Association. She also held several volunteer positions with the Monadnock United Way for over 20 years. She is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Hanover, New Hampshire, and serves as Treasurer on its Board of Directors. Deborah enjoys traveling, skiing, running, and yoga, along with spending time with her husband, daughter, and two dogs.
