Andrew Cook brings 14 years’ experience in financial services to his role as Senior Vice President, Maine Market Manager in Portland, Maine.
He grew up in Westbrook, Maine, and graduated from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, before returning to his home state to work in banking at various institutions. Andrew was drawn to Mascoma Bank because of the culture and the company’s unique approach to banking and community building. He is excited to continue working in Maine for Mainers while supporting the community through philanthropy and volunteerism.
Andrew serves on the credit committee for Granite State Development Corporation and on the commercial loan and legislative committees for Maine Banker’s Association. He is also the chair of the Greater Portland Chamber of Commerce, chair of the Maine Chapter of the American Heart Association, board secretary for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine, and he helps coach his children’s youth baseball and hockey teams, depending on the season. Andrew also joined the golf committee for the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital Open, their largest fundraiser of the year.
Andrew lives in Cumberland Center, Maine, with his wife, son, and daughter.
