Contests or promotions (“contests”) will take place during the dates and times specified in the announcement. Mascoma may change the dates and/or terms of the contest without prior notice.
Unless otherwise specified, contests are open to all legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older. Employees of Mascoma Bank and its subsidiaries and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to win. Participants are eligible to win a prize in a contest conducted by Mascoma only once every 60 days.
Entrants are required to provide truthful information. Mascoma will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. Mascoma will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and Mascoma will also delete any online entry knowingly received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
Mascoma Bank reserves the right to cancel or amend the contest and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of their control. Any changes to the contest will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. When applicable, winners will be chosen via a random drawing utilizing technology delivered by www.random.org
The winner will be notified by email and/or direct message on Twitter/Facebook/Instagram and/or letter within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
Prizes will either be delivered via email provided by the winner or will be available for pick-up during regular business hours at the Mascoma Bank branch office of the winner’s choosing. Prizes not claimed after 14 days will be considered to be abandoned and may be used in a new contest or a second drawing.

Payments of all federal, state, and local taxes related to the award of a prize are solely the responsibility of the winner of the prize. The winner will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by Mascoma in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more and such winnings will be reported to the IRS.
By participating in the contest, the winner(s) agree to have their name, voice, and likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material related to such contest, without further compensation, and (where permitted by law) to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.

Use your Mascoma Bank-issued debit card to complete an eligible online or in-person transaction between November 1, 2026, and November 30, 2026, for a chance to win one (1) of seven (7) prizes described herein (each a “Prize” and collectively, the “Prizes”).
At the conclusion of the Sweepstakes, four (4) participants will each receive a $250 statement credit, two (2) participants will each receive a $500 statement credit, and one (1) participant will receive a $1,000 statement credit.
Winners will be selected on or about December 10th, 2026.
Each eligible transaction made using your Mascoma Bank-issued debit card will earn one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. There is no limit to the number of entries that may be earned.

Sweepstakes Period
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Time on November 1, 2026, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time on November 30, 2026 (“Sweepstakes Period”).
- Who May Enter
(a) At the time of your entry, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age, be a legal resident of the United States, and reside in Vermont or New Hampshire.
(b) The following categories of individuals are not eligible to enter or win:
- Full-time and part-time employees of Mascoma Bank;
- Full-time and part-time employees of any parent company, affiliate, distributor, subsidiary, advertising or promotional agency, or supplier of promotional materials or services; and
- Immediate family members (spouses, children, parents, in-laws, and siblings) and persons residing in the same household as any of the foregoing.
- How to Enter
(a) NO ACTUAL PURCHASE OR TRANSACTION IS REQUIRED to enter the Sweepstakes.
Winners need not be present to win but must prove eligibility. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
Current Mascoma Bank cardholders (“Current Cardholders”) may enter the Sweepstakes through the qualifying activities described below. Individuals who do not currently have a Mascoma Bank-issued debit card (“Non-Current Cardholders”) may also enter the Sweepstakes by following the alternative entry method described below.
(i) Automatic Entry
To enter the Sweepstakes, a Current Cardholder may use his or her Mascoma Bank-issued debit card to complete an eligible transaction at any online or in-person merchant during the Sweepstakes Period.
Each eligible transaction constitutes one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes.
Incomplete transactions are not eligible.
There is no limit to the number of entries a Current Cardholder may earn through eligible transactions.
Eligible transactions include PIN-based and signature-based debit card purchases.
The following transactions are not eligible:
- ATM withdrawals
- Returned transactions
- Reversed transactions
- Fraudulent transactions
- Transactions under dispute or subject to chargeback
- Any transaction that does not fully settle during the Sweepstakes Period
Alternatively, if a Current Cardholder does not wish to enter using a transaction, they may enter by using the mail-in entry method described below.
(ii) Mail-In Entry Method
To enter without making a purchase or transaction, hand-print your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address on a 3″ x 5″ card and mail it to:

Each properly completed 3″ x 5″ card submitted in a separate envelope and received during the Sweepstakes Period will constitute one (1) entry.
There is no limit to the number of mail-in entries an eligible participant may submit; however, each entry must be mailed separately and received during the Sweepstakes Period to be eligible.
Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, bulk-mailed, automated, or otherwise artificially generated entries are void and may be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
- Prizes
Seven (7) prizes will be awarded as follows:
- Four (4) prizes consisting of a $250 statement credit
- Two (2) prizes consisting of a $500 statement credit
- One (1) prize consisting of a $1,000 statement credit
Total Prize Value: $3,000.
One drawing will take place on or about December 10, 2026.
Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The drawing will be conducted by Mascoma Bank, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
- Notification of Winners
After the drawing, winners will be notified by telephone and/or email using the contact information associated with their Mascoma Bank account or using the contact information provided on the applicable mail-in entry.
Winners may be required to complete and return a Mascoma Bank Sweepstakes Agreement and any other documentation required by Mascoma Bank in order to verify eligibility and claim a Prize.
Winners will have fourteen (14) days from notification to accept the Prize. Any winner who fails to respond within that period may forfeit the Prize and any right to receive it.
Upon verification of eligibility and completion of any required documentation, Mascoma Bank will arrange for delivery of the Prize. Statement credit prizes will be applied to the winner’s eligible account following winner verification.
Mascoma Bank is not responsible for inaccuracies in information provided by entrants.
Allow up to eight (8) weeks following winner verification for delivery of the Prize.
- General Conditions
(a) THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. All federal, state, and local laws apply.
(b) By submitting an entry, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Mascoma Bank, which shall be final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
(c) All entries become the property of Mascoma Bank.
(d) All entries are subject to verification and are void if forged, altered, defaced, tampered with, generated through automatic means, photocopied, otherwise mechanically reproduced, irregularly obtained, or incomplete.
(e) Each Prize winner may be required to sign a Mascoma Bank Sweepstakes Agreement before receiving a Prize. The Sweepstakes Agreement may include a release of liability and consent to the use of the winner’s name, photograph, likeness, and/or voice for promotional purposes where permitted by law. Failure to complete any required documentation may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
(f) Any tax liability arising from acceptance of a Prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.
(g) Mascoma Bank, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Sponsor Group”) shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession, or use of a Prize.
(h) By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants release and hold harmless the Sponsor Group from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance or use of any Prize.
(i) Prizes may not be substituted, transferred, or exchanged except at the sole discretion of Mascoma Bank.

(l) By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants acknowledge that they have read and accepted these Official Rules. The laws of the State of New Hampshire shall govern this Sweepstakes.
(m) Neither Mascoma Bank nor any of its affiliates, distributors, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, promotional agencies, or suppliers shall be liable for any loss or injury to a Prize winner arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the use of any Prize.
(n) Void where prohibited. Winners are responsible for determining the effect of any prize on their taxes, government benefits, or public assistance programs. Prizes will not be awarded to representative payee accounts, guardianship accounts, conservatorship accounts, special needs trusts, HSA, Business Accounts, or other fiduciary-managed accounts.
Build Savings
Periodically, Build Savings customers will have the opportunity to win prizes. Contests run from June 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025 and include a range of prizes including but not limited to:
- Gift cards to restaurants, businesses, and grocery stores
- Mascoma Bank-branded promotional items
- Admission to area events
Winners are selected via random number generation and tracked for internal and external purposes.
Entrants can win once every six months. No prizes or combination of prizes will exceed $500 in value per winner and all necessary tax documentation will be provided to the IRS, recipient, or other parties as required by law.
Non-customers can enter these giveaway contests by sending an email to [email protected] and including “Build Savings Contest Entry” in the subject line. If non-customers win, they will receive a $100 gift card to a local business.
