Matthew Dattilio, CFP®, Chief Investment Officer, SVP, has been part of the Mascoma Wealth Management team since 2012
In the role of Chief Investment Officer, Matthew is responsible for leading the Investment Committee and overseeing the firm’s investment philosophy, approach, and process. This includes portfolio construction, strategy, and implementation, as well as Mascoma Wealth Management’s research and partnership initiatives. Matthew also maintains a book of business with high-net-worth clients.
Prior to joining Mascoma Wealth Management, Matthew began his career in the insurance sector. Throughout this period, he gained his Property, Casualty, Life, and Accident & Health licenses. Matthew also previously held FINRA series 7 & 66 securities registrations.
Matthew received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont’s Grossman School of Business. In 2016, he earned his Certificate in Financial Planning through Bryant University. Matthew is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. In 2025, he completed the Chief Investment Officer Program from Columbia Business School Executive Education.
Matthew was born and raised in Hartland, Vermont, and currently resides in Hanover, New Hampshire with his wife and chocolate lab. When he is not at work, he can usually be found fly fishing throughout the Upper Valley.
